Rawwater Engineering Company Ltd / Rawwater to Present at the Annual Geomicrobiology Network Research in Progress Meeting 2023

The Environmental Mineralogy Group and the Geomicrobiology Network are hosting a joint Research in Progress meeting ‘Minerals and Microbes 2023’, at the Bernal Institute, University of Limerick, Ireland, on the 7–8th September 2023.

Research presentations will be held from 9am – 5pm on 7^th September, with keynote talks from Prof. John D. Coates (UC Berkeley), and Dr Gina Kuippers (BRAIN Biotech AG) who will talk about her journey from an environmental mineralogy / geomicrobiology PhD to a role in industry.

At this year's event, data from Rawwater's pressurised bioreactor suite will be presented which aim to demonstrate the changing rates of sour gas production and shift in microbial communities over short-term and long-term studies under simulated, subsurface field conditions.
